Narusawa-Hyouketsu Ice Cave

The Narusawa-Hyouketsu Ice Cave (Hyouketsu = ice) is a natural cave made by the eruption of Mount Fuji in 1864. Ice is present year-round at the bottom of the cave and visitors should expect cold temperatures during the visit! It is part of Japan’s national monuments.
